Thomas Tuchel confirms he will leave Bayern Munich, Man United on 'alert'

"This is my final press conference from Sabener Strasse," said Thomas Tuchel during a media briefing for Bayern Munich, quoted by the Daily Mirror.

"Our agreement from February still stands. We spoke about it again recently, but we did not reach an agreement."

Bayern were reportedly keen on revising the agreement to make Tuchel sign a contract till 2026.

The German coach is believed to be eyeing a return to the Premier League with Manchester United. Now that he will be a free agent, that is more than likely.

According to the Daily Mirror, Man United chiefs are on 'alert' after Tuchel's public admission. There has been no contact between both sides yet though.
