Jamie Carragher had a lively experience while covering Borussia Dortmund's Champions League semi-final clash with Paris Saint-Germain for CBS. Amidst the spirited atmosphere, rowdy Dortmund fans encouraged Carragher to down a beer live on TV before kick-off.
Despite having a job to do, Carragher made sure to embrace the moment, soaking up the energy from the yellow-clad supporters.
Carragher said: "Just got outside the stadium. We are at Signal Iduna Park with all of the Dortmund fans. They absolutely adore me!"
"Come on, let’s get a picture! And I’m going to get a pint. I need a drink to cool me down, to calm my nerves for the big game."
Carragher was handed a pint, and he quickly started drinking it while Dortmund fans cheered him on with chanting "Drink, drink, drink." The video was shared on social media but ended before Carragher finished his drink.
