Mail's Ralph Ellis still to see logic behind Olivier Giroud move to Chelsea
The Frenchman has only played four minutes more on average at the new club
Ellis writes about the Frenchman's woes at Stamford Bridge: "Olivier Giroud's move to Chelsea hasn't really found him the extra game time he wanted to be sure of his place in France's World Cup squad.
"The striker had to be happy with a 12-minute cameo from the bench in the 1-1 draw with West Ham, the sixth time Antonio Conte has used him as a sub since his January move.
"Giroud has averaged 27 minutes per league match on the field for Chelsea so far, compared to an average of 23 minutes per game this season when he was at Arsenal."
