Hello Gunners and welcome to our live coverage of Arsenal's final home league game of the season against Burnley!
Burnley make just a single change to the side that drew 0–0 with Brighton last week, bringing Hendrick in to play behind Barnes in attack. Chris Wood is the player who drops out, with the New Zealand international carrying a knock.
This will be Arsene Wenger's 606th (and last) home game in charge of Arsenal. The fans are taking this opportunity to express their gratitude to the team's long-term manager.
Arsenal make seven changes to the side that lost in Madrid on Thursday, bringing in Cech, Mavropanos, Chambers, Kolasinac, Aubameyang, Iwobi and Mkhitaryan. Ramsey, Monreal, Mustafi and Ospina drop to the bench, while Laurent Koscielny is injured and Mesut Ozil doesn't make the squad.
The game is underway at the Emirates!
If Burnley win today (and that's a big if), they will be level on points with Arsenal.
Iwobi makes progress through the middle before finding Lacazette, but the latter has his route blocked.
Xhaka sends a lofted pass into the path of Kolasinac, but it's just out of his reach.
Burnley are currently under heavy pressure from the Gunners, who want to make sure they send Arsene Wenger on his way with a performance to remember.
Kolasinac sends a dangerous low cross into the box, but Long clears it behind for a corner.
The Clarets keep a tight back line, making sure Arsenal don't have a lot of free space.
GOOOOOOOOOAL!!! Lacazette plays one-two with Iwobi before crossing towards Aubameyang, who fires home from close range!
An early goal is exactly what the Gunners needed to feel comfortable later on in the game.
Xhaka and Barnes have a painful collision and the game is paused as both receive treatment.
Barnes still hasn't recovered, so maybe a substitution will be needed.
Indeed, Barnes walks away injured for Sam Vokes to take his place on the pitch.
Expect a lot of time to be added to the first half with a pause like that.
The Gunners have enjoyed 67% of possession so far, which shows just how much they are in control.
Not much to report in terms of chances, but Arsenal's constant presence around the Burnley box is still threatening.
We are yet to see anything resembling an attack from Burnley. They simply don't look like they're after three points here.
Mkhitaryan fires a somewhat desperate attempt over the crossbar.
Aubameyang slides a cunning through ball into the box, but it is well read by Tarkowski.
Some good defending by Long again as he deals with an incoming cross.
Mavropanos is now lying on the ground, but it looks to be nothing serious.
Mkitaryan strikes from distance and his shot is deflected into the far post, but Pope is on hand to make a save.
Tarkowski is the first player to go into the book here.
There will be four minutes of added time.
GOOOOOOOOAL!!! Lacazette taps home an Aubameyang cross!
HALF-TIME! A pretty uneventful first half, but the Gunners get the job done with two goals under their belt. Looks like Arsene Wenger is in for a perfect send-off!
The second half is underway!
And immediately a chance for the Gunners as Aubameyang sets up Wilshere inside the penalty area, but the latter sends the ball over the bar!
First chance of the game for Burnley as Vokes heads a Hendrick cross straight into Cech.
Arsenal continue to dominate possession, with Burnley only seeing glimpses of the ball.
GOOOOOOOOAL!!! Kolasinac drives a low shot into the bottom far corner!
Ohh! Mkhitaryan curls the ball just wide of the far post!
Wenger should be happy with the performance of his team today. It's a pity Arsenal have been unable to maintain this level throghout the season…
Half an hour left to play, and there's still no glimpse of hope for the away team.
The Clarets are enjoying a decent spell of possession, but are unable to convert it into chances.
GOOOOOOOOAL!!! Iwobi fires into the top corner after being perfectly assisted by Aubameyang!
I wonder if there are even more goals on the way…
Kolasinac sees his shot blocked!
Tottenham loanee N'Koudou replaces Lennon for the visitors.
Double change for Arsenal! Wilshere makes way for Aaron Ramsey…
And Danny Welbeck comes on for Lacazette.
GOOOOOOOOAL!!! Here goes the fifth for the Gunners as Aubameyang sends a Bellerin cross into the back of the net!
Per Mertesacker replaces Chambers, and its a farewell game for the German international!
Ten more minutes of torture for Burnley. They aren't even trying to score a consolation goal!
It's more of the same here at the Emirates. The Gunners are passing and probing in the final third, Burnley sit trapped inside their own box.
Aubameyang races down the left before offloading to Ramsey, but his pass is poor and doesn't reach its intended target.
Wow! Welbeck hits the post from distance! Could've been a screamer of a goal!
Meanwhile, Gudmundsson is substituted by Wells.
FULL TIME! Arsenal destroy a lackluster Burnley side in a perfect send-off for the legendary Arsene Wenger! Thank you for following this landmark game with us!
