Hazard is set for a contract extension after international duty
Eden Hazard is to become the Premier League's highest-earning player on £300,000 a week when signing a new contract at Chelsea, according to a report
Hazard is in line for a new deal at Stamford Bridge to end any lingering doubts over his future, though, with The Express suggesting that only minor details are now left to agree and the contract is to be signed once the player reports back from Belgian camp.
Chelsea chiefs are said to be willing to add an extra £80,000 to the 26-year-old's current weekly wage, seeing him overtake Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba as the division's highest earner.
Former Lille ace Hazard has been eased back into action this season after picking up an ankle injury on international duty in June and has already showed glimpses of his best self.
