Sky Sports: Liverpool reportedly want to sign Aaron Ramsey until deadline day
- The 27-year-old Wales international attracts interest from Jurgen Klopp's side, according to transfer expert Ian McGarry
- Meanwhile, Unai Emery wants Ramsey to stay
Speaking to the Sky Sports' Transfer Podcast, transfer expert Ian McGarry claims Liverpool are seeking to land Aaron Ramsey, who has missed Chelsea clash through injury, before the transfer window shuts: "There’s a little bit of interest from Liverpool, I understand.
"I think there’s no vacancy at Liverpool right now following the arrival of Fabinho and Naby Keita but Ramsey would certainly be a very good addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad as a creative box-to-box midfielder.
"So, Ramsey is taking time and quite rightly to weigh up his options."
Arsenal head coach Unai Emery, by the way, has revealed he'd like Aaron Ramsey to stay at Arsenal no matter what: "I think my opinion is clear, I want him to be with us, but then it’s one question for the player and the club. My opinion is professional and is in the interest of the team."
Aaron Ramsey should be sold to the highest bidder asap. Nothing against him, but it's a new era for Arsenal - a club that needs total commitment, and cash. Plus, I'm sure Arsenal can find someone else to score goals against mid-table garbage.— Arsenal Truth (@TruthArsenal) July 26, 2018
