➕ Positive: Nelson continues to show great promise
The youngster didn't leave the pitch without contributing to a goal these days. Reiss Nelson spent 45 minutes on the pitch, but it was enough for him to open the scoring. The question is: will Emery be brave enough to use him in the actual Premier League game?

2 assists vs PSG.
1 assist vs Chelsea.
1 goal vs Lazio
Really hope we see Reiss Nelson feature a lot in league this season. Amazin talent, huge potential. Still a bit raw but he's getting there pic.twitter.com/eknOgyl6lA
➕ Positive: Aubameyang and Lacazette combining well
The two attackers have proved that they can play together just fine, setting each other up for shots from dangerous area time and time again. No problems with finishing, too:
Solid win. Auba and Lacazette are going to be so important to our top 4 chances.— Le Grove (@LeGrove) August 4, 2018
Glad to see Torreira & Lichtsteiner in action. Guendouzi is the revelation. Nelson & Rowe are promising. Auba & Laca big threat. Cech gonna slug it out with Leno. Lichtsteiner is a big problem for Bellerin. Decent preseason for Arsenal. Bring on the new season. #AFC— xcoubar (@xcoubar) August 4, 2018
➕ Positive: Guendouzi still the main revelation of preseason
The youngster signed for literate peanuts looks absolutely at home in Arsenal midfield. It would be very hard for Emery to left him out of the starting XI vs Man City:
Guendouzi honestly looks like he’s been a part of this team for years. Constantly free on the pitch, fantastic passing range and can beat a man too. It’s incredible that he’s only made 23 professional appearances. Still early days, but looks like a superb acquisition for £7m.— Patrick Timmons (@PatrickTimmons1) August 4, 2018
The main question is if he should start ahead of Xhaka. Not all Gunners think so:

This was a bit of a boring game. We got to see Lichtsteiner and Torreira in action. They were decent, but not fully fit obviously. Xhaka made many mistakes, but again, it's understandable. I won't criticize him too much. But I still think Guendouzi should start pic.twitter.com/BMZ3hgWwUD
As much as I rate Guendouzi and as amazing as he’s been this pre season, I can’t see him starting over Xhaka and it wouldn’t be a wise move by emery if he did start over Xhaka. The prem is a completely different level of competition and I think he needs to build experience first— le patrön (@lepvtron) August 4, 2018
• Lichtsteiner impresses
I've seen someone say Lichtsteiner "was a ridiculously bad signing" for Arsenal (not a Gooner I might add)— Dean (@ArsenalNexus) August 4, 2018
He was one of our best players from what I saw... Not sure what other Arsenal fans think?
Love Lichtsteiner already. No messing with him.— Charles Watts (@charles_watts) August 4, 2018
• Torreira good despite not being fully fit:
Torreira was good but misplaced a few passes but he isn't fully fit so that's fine. Also Bellerin has to work hard to become the first choice, Lichtensteiner is way good. Again Guendouzi was great and feels like he was born to play for Arsenal. pic.twitter.com/YqrK46PGAE— Dammit Arsenal? (@DammitArsenal) August 4, 2018
Arsenal made use of Guendouzi's dribbling, in tight spaces, to beat his man and find an Arsenal player in between the lines to progress the ball— Football Bloody Hell (@fbhfootball) August 4, 2018
