Unai Emery lifts the lid on the best way to play against Manchester City
- New Premier League season started yesterday, on August 10, but Arsenal set to play their first match on Sunday, August 12, against Pep Guardiola’s side Manchester City
- Key to Man City's winning run, according to Emery, is stability, security and high level of confidence
- Arsenal need to concentrate on the same factors and expect nothing but a win
Speaking about the appropriate way of playing against the Premier League titans, Unai Emery said: "It's more easy to speak here than to do it on the pitch. City, I think, after two years of working with Guardiola they have more stability, more security and when you watch City's matches, they are playing with a very, very great confidence in themselves.
"Also, I think that Guardiola's coaching is clear in this team. For that, we are working this week and preparing for this game and preparing for the opposition, against City, as a collective and as individual players. Above all, it's about confidence in ourselves to play the best match on Sunday. We are to think only to win the match."
Meanwhile, Arsenal boss has admitted Pep Guardiola has shone more both as a player and manager but has welcomed the challenge posed by his counterpart ahead of Sunday afternoon's showdown at the Emirates: "I am 46, he is 47 and he started his career as a player, bigger than me. His career as a coach is also bigger than mine."

Will our Sundays' opening day be the same?
