Spanish media: Barcelona could sanction Arsenal-linked Dembele sale as PSG not giving up on him
- The Parisians' head coach Tuchel is reported to be a huge fan, according to Mundo Deportivo
- RAC1: Barcelona could still let the Frenchman leave
Ousmane Dembele has stolen all the headlines of Saturday's edition of Mundo Deportivo. One of the main Catalan newspapers has claimed the Frenchman could still leave the Camp Nou stadium despite stating otherwise in a recent Twitch stream. The news outlet goes on with naming Paris Saint-Germain the main contenders for the 21-year-old.
Mundo Deportivo: Offensive PSG
Arsenal reportedly made an astronomical €100m bid for the winger as Emery was desperate to sign a top-class winger, but there was no official confirmation from any side concerning that offer. According to Mundo Deportivo, PSG haven't given up on Dembele's pursuit. They could now become the main favourites to land the Frenchman as the transfer window in the Premier League is closed.
Moreover, PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel is a huge fan of the player as the duo worked together at Borussia Dortmund in the 2016/2017 season. The Frenchman enjoyed a successful debut season in the Bundesliga as he scored ten goals and assisted on TWENTY-ONE more in all competitions under the German specialist, as his player profile via Transfermarkt can prove.
What about FC Barcelona, though? The same source claims the Catalans haven't put the Frenchman on the market yet, however, they are ready to consider any potential move should the right offer arrive. This idea is also confirmed by another Barcelona-based news outlet, RAC1. The report on this radio station has also made clear that the Blaugrana could still sell Dembele.
