Ireland U17 star bags a professional contract with Gunners
- Ireland U17 international Jordan McEneff has signed up with AFC
The Derry attacker, whose brother Aaron plays for Derry City, picked up an injury at the start of last season but impressed enough in seven appearances for the Arsenal U18 team that the Gunners offered him a senior deal.
McEneff had signed a two-year contract last summer with the Arsenal academy but will now join the senior ranks.
The 17-year-old previously represented Northern Ireland at underage level before switching to Ireland.
He is one of three academy players to sign a professional contract with Arsenal along with Harry Clarke and Tobi Omole.
