Esporte: PSG enter competition for Arsenal-linked Ajax star David Neres
- The Brazilian is tipped to leave Ajax in summer.
- Arsenal are rumoured to following the winger.
- The 22-year-old has a contract with the Dutch side until 2022 and is reportedly valued at £44m.
According to reliable Brazilian source Esporte, PSG have identified David Neres as a target in summer. Manager Thomas Tuchel wants to sign the talented winger after a poor Champions League campaign. They lost to United in the last 16. After winning the first game at Old Trafford 2-0 they somehow managed to lose at Parc des Princes 3-1.
The club aims to give another chance for the manager next year. The French side are reportedly ready to offload Edinson Cavani who clashed with Neymar on a few occasion. That would free up room for new additions and David Neres is eyed as a man who has a potential to be a part of a star-studded PSG team.

The youngest on my list, Neres has a ridiculously high ceiling, though a lot to learn. Would do well in our passing-heavy system and is terrific at dribbling with pace past anyone. Also has some good finishing. (4/8) pic.twitter.com/ZQ2KosO30O
According to Nicolo Schira, a reporter for very reliable newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal sent scouts to watch the Ajax winger in action vs Juventus. [Ajax progressed 3-2 on aggregate to lose to Spurs in the semifinal 3-3 on the away goals]
