Dutch football expert: 'Ziyech is keen on a club like Arsenal'
- Marcel van der Kraan knows as a fact that the 26-year-old would be happy with a move to the Emirates.
- The journalist also claims that Arsenal would be a perfect fit for the Moroccan, if they didn't have Ozil.
- The winger is reportedly available for £25 million.
Speaking with Sky Sports, Dutch football expert Marcel van der Kraan shared his knowledge and opinion regarding Hakim Ziyech's potential transfer to the Gunners.
"I know that the player [Ziyech] is keen on a club like Arsenal, who have always played good football. Manchester City also under Pep Guardiola play a kind of Johan Cruyff-Ajax style of football, as do Barcelona."
Previously, Ziyech admitted that he was a childhood Arsenal fan.
"But not all of these clubs will line up for him. I think that if Arsenal did not have Mesut Ozil, they would have been the perfect club for him.
"But now, he has to choose between clubs in the Bundesliga, two or three clubs.
"Ajax are now aware that the best bit of business they may do this summer is to give him a new contract, rather than sign a new big-name attacker or midfielder."
The winger would be available for just £25 million this summer if reports regarding a release clause in his contract are true.
This season the Morrocan has made 49 appearances for Ajax, scoring 21 goals and providing 24 assists.
