FA charges Arsenal Women with alleged 'act of discrimination'
- The charges are related to an incident with a former employee in 2014.
- The club apparently 'discriminated' the employee.
- Arsenal Women have denied all charges.
The FA statement read: "Arsenal Women FC has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E4.
"It is alleged that, when dismissing an employee in 2014, the club carried out an act of discrimination by reason of disability which was not otherwise permitted both by law and the Rules and Regulations of The FA.
"Arsenal Women FC has until Tuesday 20 August 2019 to provide a response."
A spokesperson for Arsenal Women told BBC Sport: "We refute any suggestion of discrimination in this case and will defend the charge accordingly."
