Emery demands Arsenal fans to show some patience amidst a string of scandals
- Arsenal's season has been overshadowed by some 'circumstances' as Emery calls them.
- He claims these circumstances are the major factor behind Arsenal's current form.
- The Spaniard urges Arsenal fans to show some patience and understanding.
Arsenal are under tremendous pressure at the moment, having won just one of their last six games. Moreover, the Gunners may end up 9 points off the top-4 if they lose to Leicester.
The boss cites certain circumstances behind our run of form and asks Arsenal fans to show some support for the team.
"I'm not really disappointed with our work [this season].
"I am being realistic because some circumstances did not help us to achieve the best emotional balance because with that, best performance, best emotional balance.
"For the supporters, they have seen that their team needs more to improve to achieve the best results.
"I want to say to them, they must have patience and in some circumstances, they did not help us but we are trying to achieve the best emotional balance with the players."
Arsenal's start to the current campaign has been spoiled by Laurent Koscielny's scandalous departure, while Ozil and Kolasinac became victims of the attempted crime.
The boss believes things would have worked out differently for the Gunners if not for these uncomfortable circumstances:
"Ozil circumstances, Kolasinac, Laurent Koscielny circumstance and, remember also, that if he was here that the captain would be Laurent Koscielny and that would give us no problem."
