Updated Champions League odds: Barca still on top, PSG and Arsenal close in
The Opta supercomputer has updated its predictions for the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League after the latest quarterfinal matches.
Despite a 3-1 loss in the second leg against Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona remain the favourites to lift the trophy with a 27.4% chance of success, although their odds have slightly dropped from 28.2%.
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are now the second-favorites at 25.7% after holding off Aston Villa's comeback attempt.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have jumped to third place with a 24.3% chance of winning, following their impressive 3-0 home win over Real Madrid.
The simulations also suggest that Barcelona (54.7%) and PSG (49.9%) are the most likely teams to reach the final.
Inter Milan (16.6%) and Bayern Munich (4.2%) will face off on Wednesday, with the winner potentially shaking up the odds.
Real Madrid's chances of defending their title have dwindled to 1.8%, with an 8.6% chance of reaching the semifinals.
The Opta supercomputer model works by simulating the competition 10,000 times, using betting market odds and Opta Power Rankings based on historical and recent team performances.
