Morata on rumours of funding Fagioli’s illegal betting: 'Only help I gave Nicolo was career advice'
Galatasaray forward Alvaro Morata has addressed speculation that he lent money to Nicolo Fagioli for illegal betting activities.
"I’ve seen what’s being said about me, and I want to clarify - the only help I’ve given Fagioli over the years was career advice, as a friend and someone with more experience.
"I knew nothing about his situation. I genuinely care for Nicolo and hope he can resolve things soon, but I have no involvement - please don’t spread fake news or lies.
"Let me be clear: I deny all accusations because they are false," Morata said.
