Sick and tired of footballers whining about 'too early' PL return
Tuesday morning, I woke up to the news of Danny Rose switching on his moany moan mode again - how sweet!
He said: "I don't give a fuck about the nation's morale, bro, people's lives are at risk.
"Football shouldn't even be spoken about coming back until the numbers have dropped massively. It's bullshit."
My dear Danny Rose, if you were as committed to playing football as you are to bitching about all kinds of stuff, you'd be second to Roberto Carlos. But I won't be focusing on Rose alone.
In fact, I get the concerns of those players per se. It's natural. What I also get is these overpampered prima donnas only want to think in terms of themselves.
So my rant will be against what I perceive is an overprivileged stance some footballers have taken upon.
The Premier League is needless entertainment, they might say, this kind of thing can wait, they add.
My dear footballers, neither you nor anyone else has a fucking clue when this coronavirus thing goes away. Will you be content to sit at home for a year if it takes that much to develop a vaccine? Well, given you can comfortably sink in cash you probably will.
Only please don't you forget that the Premier League isn't just you 22 lads passing the ball for 90 mins once or twice a week. The Premier League is also hundreds of people, hundreds of jobs. What you earn while you sleep these people earn in two months.
You're afraid my ass. People who have to go to work are probably afraid too. People who have to go to work are afraid. But they're left with zero choice. And they have no testing prior to clocking in and after clocking out, something you'll have. And none of this empty working space so they'd have minimal contact with others.
You are the most protected group of people in this whole thing and yet the most anxious one when it comes to it.
And please, don't portray it as if footballers are going to be the first people to come out of this pandemic and start working. Thousands are already working, scared or not. Because they have to.
If you were on some money at least resembling what these people earn, I'd love to hear your moans and hear them louder because those would be the moans of 'when the hell is this coming to an end so I could go to work to pay my bills?'
Stay safe, everyone, take precautions, and keep your spirit positive!

That's an unpopular opinion and I can't say I really disagree
Community admin✅, thanks pal
Brilliantly put, says exactly how I feel about it, there’s no need for the game to be rushed back but at the same time people like rose are pathetic when you compare the absolute minimal risk they will be put at compared to everyday people earning a pittance in comparison who are working already if not going back to work soon. IMO if a player don’t want to play then fair enough, be a pussy, don’t play, but the clubs should have the right to freeze their contract immediately and pay them nothing until they return to work.
Neil Hamilton, Sean Dyche said it well! If it's a safe environment then get them back to work! Will they shut entire businesses if an employee contracts the virus? NO! Don't want to play - renounce your wages and sit at home
At this point, people are just learning to live with it. That's the only way to move forward. And with a general shift in mindset, footballers shouldn't be any different.
