A Fans thoughts.
So this time in my fans thoughts i will start off with a dear topic not only for me but for many users , Transfer questions.
Summer is closing in and fans starts getting exited talking about transfers and even more this season when we have seen our team a little off form. Media is all over us feeding us with hundreds different players. But the thing is , It works.
Fans are too easily affected by media talks and wants every player mentioned without knowing anything about them. For example been several strikers linked that has this season scored 15 goals in some B league like France or Portugal or Holland and before that they done nothing but as we this season not scored many people ask to get just any player that scored a few goals.
Got to be realistic and see if they actually are good enough to play for a team that wants to be the best in the world. Then a medium good player from a B league isn't the answer.
Anyway it's fun to speculate who we can buy and even if we don't play with a central striker or a nr 10 playmaker it's still possible we will do that in the future as us fans can't know what Klopp and the staff plans for a new year. Keep the suggestions coming who and what you want for a new season. I'm sure I will be there to leave a comment if there are ideas I like or not so much 😁.
Klopp stubborn?
We often hear talk about Klopp being stubborn. Yes he is 😆 but , Many wants him to change system and some demands other players on the pitch but I would say he isn't as stubborn as many thinks. At least me he keeps surpricing with who he starts . Sometimes I like it, others I don't and it's always going to be totally impossible to satisfy every fan . Klopp isn't putting a lineup out to satisfy fans he puts the men out he thinks are the right ones to win the game. There are many things we don't know , for example what happens in training or if a player got a slight knock or something so show some trust in the man and how he choses to play.
In the first Madrid game he put Keita on which was a big surprice , but it didn't pay off. Against Arsenal he took Robbo out ,moved Milner to lb and played with 4 attackers which is another thing he doesn't usually do. He has played with different formations this season to try and see what helps but it's only been worse the times he done so. The man has had to play with more cb constellations than ever seen before in the pl history during a season and we are still fighting for a top 4 spot.. It's just been a hellish season and the not so stubborn Klopp got my full support for next season.
A call out for older Lfc fans.
Also on this app we got reds who been there and seen the 60,s 70,s and 80,s. When we got topics from older days I have seen you comment and followed that closely as it's mighty interesting to read from those who been there and taken part of those times.
I would love if some of you could make some blogs for us to read from those times. For example if you had some routines on matchdays, If you sneaked in to see the games , If there is a game you attended that got a special place in your heart , If you have a story to tell from meeting an old player or manager or even been drinking with them 😆 or if you as kids were hanging around Anfield and what's changed around there and what's the same. Just a nice real story would be great.
Pessimism/realism
I've seen many angry at Southgate when Trent wasn't chosen in his squad. To me it's only natural that he wasn't. If we are honest Trent has had a really bad season and to not get chosen into the national team might even have helped him as he been pretty good after. Every team plays differently and if Southgate wants a rb that defends more than attacks Trent isn't a given choice. So the pessimism there is over exaggerated. The realistic person sees it for what it is and accept he didn't have anything to do there this time.
The same goes for all the fsg out talks. The pessimism I sometimes read is tiring and the needs and demands are ridiculous. It's not too many years since they bought us and saved us and we already won a lot under them. Last summer they made our troup stronger by buying Jota and Thiago for example. The world wasn't built in one day so be realistic. I'm sure they will get us good players this summer and we will yet again be a nodge stronger next season.

Interesting blog Christian and yes one or stories to tell and I’m not even from that area. As for transfers I think some on here need to think things through as so many permutations to think of as it’s not just cost!!. This is why also I don’t tend to stay on here after matches as just insults most of the time
👍👏⚽Nice blog Christian. I am very glad we have Klopp as the gaffer for i still believe in his overall qualities and performance. I see those calling our gaffer as stubborn as expressing different opinions. However, I am not too interested in those criticising the gaffer without much objectivity or being disrespectful by calling him clueless, predictable or having no Plan B. I prefer to look more objectively at the end results and future prospects including how the gaffer is helping the team evolved to the next success level. I like your call for older or more seasoned LFC fans to share their respective stories, because that is a productive way to help the new generation of fans to better understand our club history and value system.
I have read that people who have studied klopp say he is a two season wonder as for as success goes time will tell for Liverpool ya and what happens during summer
👍⚽ Yeah these doubters bought their crystal balls from the toys r us shop which has already gone belly up too. 😂🤷♂️🤦
and supporters who don't really care how liverpool play or how ambitious the club are or care if they ever win another title or weather they play good or bad football
