Let Daniel Ek come over, if his interest in buying out Arsenal is genuine
@Aleksei Blokhin, this is an excellent background search among other things that is needed to assess and judge Daniel Ek's intentions on his signal to buy majority shares of our Club.
Certainly, "there is no art to know the heart of a Man" in situations like this but the precedent and situations elsewhere can also guide us.
Daniel Ek is a self-made man, a billionaire, then an Arsenal fan in the first place. Then his intention came second.
To me, I will pre-judge him to seemingly be a perfect person for our financial-struggling club as a result of the stinginess of our controlling owner. It takes instinct interest in football as a game, then the passion for the club, for any businessman to be ready to spend massively on his club to attract good players and materials.
The Late Vichai Srivaddhanapra of Leicester should come to our mind, then our proud neighbor, Roman Abramovich of Chelsea and the Qatar state-owned clubs, Man City and PSG.
The common denominator among these owners is the PRIDE and REPUTATIONAL status of first of all OWNING the Clubs, then profits come later.
Another difference, is the fact that all the reputational owners of football clubs watch games and in defeat, they suffer the same emotional restlessness and hurting feelings like every fan of the Club.
That is why Roman Abramovich will not blink to sack a coach and pay millions in compensation. He is not a fool, rather, he has target pride target for trophies and not profits at the end of the year unlike the Kroenkes!
I know Aliko Dangote as an ardent Arsenal fan since over two decades ago even before he became a billionaire through one of his close staff.
There is no Arsenal souvenirs he doesn't collect every year and it is a known fact in our country, that Dangote flew to London to watch Arsenal games in those Wenger's days when players delighted us with mesmerizing football skills and made us feel proud in the community of football fans in Nigeria.
My personal submission, is that, any of these billionaires will be ready to put millions of their money down for overhauling of our team, just like other reputational owners are doing to bring them constant results. I believe their profit-making interest will not override their pride of their clubs doing well.
