Angel Di Maria discussed one of the most debated moments from Argentina’s World Cup final against France in Netflix’s Breaking Down the Wall documentary— the penalty he won in the 23rd minute.
After going down in the box due to contact from Ousmane Dembele, Di Maria firmly responded to those who claimed it wasn’t:
"People keep saying that it didn't deserve a penalty but there was contact. He made contact and it affected my balance."
However, his own teammate, Paulo Dybala, seems to have a different view.
"I still think he actually dove," claimed the AS Roma star claimed.
"I always tease Fide: 'What a great actor you are.'"
Did Dybala really mean it, or was it all in good fun?
