Verona and AC Milan players enter pitch with dogs in their arms – what it looked like

AC Milan have joined Verona's charity event. On Matchday 17 of Serie A, the teams entered the pitch holding dogs from the shelter.

Earlier, Verona announced the event to support the animals and find them new homes.

The initiative was proposed by the president of Verona, Maurizio Setti, together with the city municipality and the animal shelter supported by the club.

"The main goal of the event is to draw public attention to the possibility of adopting dogs from the shelter," the organisers said.
