Am I the only one who doesn't want the club to shell out money to keep Ighalo?
Maybe I'm crazy but has the hype over Ighalo gone over the top? He Loves the club, and plays his heart out for us, but he's not good enough. He's 30 years old and has already failed in the premier league with watford. He's scored against LASK DERBY AND CLUB BRUGGE! Those teams arent exactly power houses. I'm starting to think most united fans dont care about winning anymore or having quality players they just care about players being fans of united like they are. That sounds like the thinking of a mid table club who know they wont win trophies so they opt for moral victories. We are united!!!!! We need the best players in the world. If we buy a 30 year old he better be one of the world's best, and we buy him because he will be that last piece needed to win the league or champions league. Have we lost all desire to win? Have we just decided we're ok fighting for 4th? The hype around Ighalo tells me that we are ok with mediocrity as long as the players are fans like we are... well sign me up for 100k pounds a week then because I'll run my ass off!

Definitely want him at the club. The price might be high but we need players who can give everything for the badge - that is priceless
We need quality players who will improve the team. All Ighalo can do is give a rest to martial when he needs one
Great Guy but unfortunately not worth this over inflated fee Available on a free yes then worth a punt
He seems a great player but he's been hard done by with this pandemic crap. If he's gonna cost £20m I think it's risky as hell. £20m will be good money in the post-pandemic world and unless United are absolutely sure they want him -- that the coaches have seen enough in games and in training -- they shouldn't buy him out. I trust Ole and his staff to make the right decision.
