TEN HAG FOREVER
Rome was not built in one day. Neither was Manu built in one day by Sir Alex Ferguson. It took him more than 3 years for us to start seeing the seeds grow.
So lets give Eric Ten Haq time. Time is the essence, especially in the Premier League. There are so many great managers, to contend with nowadays. Really, Gardiolla and Klopp are great legends in their own rights, and ETH is one guy that can match and even surpass them. We had a few potentials previously, especially with Mourinho. but they failed. I suppose the job was too big, even for Mourinho. A few messed it up especially Moyes, Van Gaal and Solsjear. They just cannot handle the pressure. Mind you, the pressure coming from the high expectations of the fans, a broken team with super egos and lost ways, an owner intent with making money for themselves first, and a punditry of ex superstar players with very lofty and unforgiving expectations. ( perhaps thats what it took for MU to reach to what we are today). I also suspect some of the pundits namely Souness, Callager and our own Mark Hughs to be wolves in sheep's clothing who want us never to come up again - vicious opponents of you know, from which team.
Now, coming back to ETH. In his 1st year, he has rebuild the team spirit, team direction and discipline. Super egos have been written out esp Pogba, Lindgard, and CR7, which are not an easy thing to do. The team is now being build around truly world class players especially Caseamiro and Bruno and aided by De Gea, Rashford, Luke Shaw and Erickson. New young stars are already burgeoning with the likes of Garnacheo and Amad.
We are at the doorstep of CL, when, even as late as last season, our beloved Gary Neville said we are 100 years behind Loserpool ( LOL). World class players were shunning our team last year. Now talks of these players like Mbappe, Neymar, Kane, Osinhem, to name a few, have put their names online to join us. What a change, when last year, they would distance from us. Its a great sign of the strides ETH has taken.
These are a few salient points ETH has progressed with the team. More has to be done, to be honest. But give the guy TIME. He needs it and more importantly, we need it.
