Voodoo priest and Barca fan: ‘I’ve been brutally beaten up in Port-au-Prince for anti-Madrid magic'
I’m bringing you terrible news.
Yesterday, Haiti’s priest and soothsayer who’s also a massive Barcelona fan was attacked by a mob of Madrid fans in the center of Port-au-Prince.
The reason for the ugly assault was my previous post here in which I told you about the priest putting a voodoo spell on several Madrid players including Zidane some time ago.
First of all, I didn’t know Real Madrid had any true fans outside Madrid. Secondly, how did they identify that it was actually him, the priest?
I guess the priest’s growing Internet popularity is now paying its negative dividends and I feel quite guilty because of that…
Here’s what the priest has told me about the whole incident after being released from a hospital.
“I came to Port-au-Prince from my village to see my old friends and to buy favorite sweets for my woman. As I was walking down Boulevard La Saline, a group of four men (one of them wore a Real Madrid shirt) approached me, asking, ‘Is that you who’ve put a spell on Real Madrid footballers? Is that you, old piece of shit?’ Do you know how much money we’ve lost on betting because of Madrid’s poor results?’
“I decided to tell the truth because I love Barca and I’m ready to admit everything I’ve done for this team.
“Then, one of them threw a left hook to my jaw before the guy in the Madrid shirt spit in my face and punched me in the balls with his left foot, shouting, ‘That was a game-winning free-kick from Gareth Bale!’ They thought that was very funny.
“After a couple of seconds, it was total darkness in my eyes, with a stray dog sniffing my ear and those criminals laughing like they were possessed by the devil.
“An old woman with a basket of apples and beautiful blue eyes came up to me later before calling an ambulance. Such a wonderful and kind lady.
“Actually, now I’m even more convinced that it was the right thing to do to put a voodoo spell on Zidane and a few Madrid players. As I know now, it stopped at least some people from an awful addiction to betting that could ruin lives and families.”
