20-year-old wants to join Blues as clubs continue to negotiate
PSV Eindhoven attacker Noni Madueke is reportedly happy to join Chelsea, with the two clubs currently negotiating a potential transfer this month.
Madueke, 20, is an exciting young winger that’s impressed in the Netherlands with PSV after previously coming through the academy ranks at Tottenham and Crystal Palace. The London-born talent is now linked with a return to England, though.
Incidentally, the 20-year-old uploaded an interesting message to Instagram this week suggesting nothing will stop him from getting to the top.
Noni Madueke speculation
According to journalist Simon Phillips, Madueke is “happy” to make the move to Chelsea but won’t push too hard to avoid offending PSV.
It is understood that Todd Boehly’s Chelsea have already launched a £25million bid for the wide player.
The ongoing discussions are around the Blues coughing up an extra £8.8million for the Eredivisie forward.
“Madueke talks continue, and Chelsea are about £8.8m away from agreeing a fee for the England U21 international and have been trying to make that up with add-ons. There was an initial verbal offer from Chelsea for around £25m. Player is happy to go to Chelsea, but he isn’t pushing it and wants to stay respectful to his club,” Phillips told GiveMeSport.
Madueke is an extremely eye-catching player to watch, with Anton Ferdinand raving about his “silky chops” and dribbling last year.
The young right-winger is back fit again after missing the opening chunk of this season through injury, but he’s shown enough during his time in the Netherlands to enhance his reputation.
He’s scored 20 goals in 80 PSV senior appearances, including a few in various European club competitions.
There’s so many attacking options in wide areas right now at Stamford Bridge, so it’s going to be interesting to see what Graham Potter’s plans are in those positions moving forward.

Osimhen is predator like Crocodile Nil River as Didier Drogba
@ adebola the primary task for a winger is to break the defensive deadlock and then assist just like wrener. dembele doesn't score much but Barca cry if he his injured
