10 Man United defeat 12 Man Spurs
The final scores you know ended 1:3 in favour of United but not without interesting facts to note.
It was quite obvious in the first half that United played with 10 Man because of how obvious it was that Rashford was playing injured. He was disconnected from the rest of the team except for one moment flash.
On the other side of the team, Spurs played with full-fit team including their dirty tricks and the fact that the referee was awarding fouls at will on any slightest contact. A clean goal was disallowed and yellow cards were shown at the slightest opportunity. One might truly wonder if the referee was the extra leg Spurs needed to win the match.
Nevertheless, United came out tops and Mourinho was the man left to wail as usually, blaming the referee for not giving Paul a red.
