Can a golden era be found in the academy
Liverpool's academy have produced some quality talents over the years. This includes the likes of Robbie Fowler, Jamie Carragher and our fantastic captain Steven Gerrard.
In a starstruck(ing) squad with world class players it is indeed not easy to find a spot for the young stars. As years past, they get older and we may not realize it. Of course everyone wants to play for the club they always dreamt playing for, but many spend most of their career playing on loan.
Marko Grujic, an academy product of the merseyside, was already called by his Serbian Captain to play for Lazio. But Marko's intention is always to work hard and play a No8 role for the club. He even believes with proper training he could play till the age of 36. His words shows his determination, but unfortunately for the 24 year old is now on loan at Hertha Berlin. While Oxlade was playing for Liverpool at the same age.
Harry Wilson, another huge talent who will surely emerge In the coming years. But it is only possible with a club that suits him the most. After playing several games for Liverpool in senior lever he was loaned to Derby County and then to Bournemouth. He made us proud with the iconic 5 times celebration after scoring against Manchester United. It surely shows how badly he wants to play for the Club. The 23 year old how showed some incredible game this season with Bournemouth which includes the free kick against Manchester City. He's surely not an option to leave on loan again.
Our own wonderkid Rhian Brewster who is also the proud owner of Champions league gold medal, super cup gold medal, Club World Cup gold medal and he's very own U-21 world cup gold medal is currently on loan at Swansea City. This cheeky little kid was promised he'll play for the club at senior level this season. Despite being dominant, bringing in a young player was quite risky as now he spends the second half of the season at Swansea City.
Will these players get their time at Liverpool when they return from loan. Alike them, there's more academy talents on loan and some have already left the club permanently.
Surely we don't want this talents to be wasted. We have our future legends on loan.
Don't hesitate to say your words towards our young gems and the club's decision on their future.

Among those three, I think Grujic is the only one who has no place in the squad. I like the guy but the competition is just too tough for him. I am a big fan of Harry Wilson and although something tells me he will also leave in the summer, I'd love to be wrong. His free-kicks and long-distance shots are pure art. As for Rhian, he has all chances to earn a place in the squad. He's talented, Klopp likes him and everything is in his hands right now. It's up to him to decide. Fighting for a place in the starting XI at Liverpool is never going to be easy, so he might opt to join a side with less competition but still, he can make a name at Liverpool, of course.
Yeah Wilson is a very huge talent.
Grujic is way better than Rhian
Zimzim Peter, it's not actually about who is better, it's more about who has a place in the team. I can't see Grujic getting a game with Gini, Hendo, Ox, Keita, Milner, Fabinho and now Curtis ahead of him in the pecking order. And he is 24 already, so he can't wait. He needs game time now and he is unlikely to get it at Liverpool, that's the problem.
