Antony could win both Conference League and Europa League, setting unmatched record
Antony eyes historic double European titles.
Manchester United’s Antony is rewriting football history with his stunning loan spell at Real Betis. Since joining in January, the Brazilian winger has rediscovered his flair, netting eight goals in 21 appearances and fueling Betis’ Champions League chase. His remarkable form has set the stage for a potential record-breaking achievement.
On Thursday, United crushed Athletic Club 7-1 on aggregate to reach the Europa League final against Tottenham on May 21 at San Mames, while Betis edged Fiorentina in extra time to secure a Conference League final spot against Chelsea on May 28 at Stadion Miejski.
Having featured in both clubs’ European campaigns, Antony is eligible for medals if either - or both - triumph.
Should United and Betis win, he’d become the first player to claim two European titles in one season.
