In the first season under Hansi Flick, Barcelona have improved drastically and even won the domestic treble. Even despite us missing out on the Champions League, this season definitely will go down in Barca history.
However, Barca fans can't help but feel sorry for one player - and it's Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker played a crucial part in Barca's success this season, but will most likely lose the Pichichi race to Kylian Mbappe after being injured in the final part of the season.
"Can't help but feel sorry for Lewy. Sad to see him lose the Pichichi trophy to the ninja turtle pen merchant because of injury and defensive errors in El Classico. He played a very important part in the team’s success this season by scoring some crucial goals to keep the team in the title race all while being unfairly criticized by toxic “fans” in match threads and posts.
"Despite that, he gets to lift a much bigger trophy than Mbappe and i’m proud of what he’s accomplished this season. I know players like Lamine, Raphinha, and Pedri are being talked about more for their impact but this man deserves as much recognition as they do in my opinion."
