How Messi Copa America triumph could impact Barcelona in the coming season.
The Copa America won by Leo Messi is perhaps the greatest thing that has happened to him in a long time. Hence the Laliga teams should be getting ready to meet the happiest Messi in a long time. As we all know, a happy Messi is an unstoppable Messi and an unstoppable Messi is an unstoppable Barcelona.
In the last couple of years, the Argentina and Barcelona skipper/talisman has been moving from one disappointment to another. And yet he has been producing huge numbers of stats through pain. Now, imagine a Leo with no pain. He is a fire!
In the 2016 season of the UEFA Champions league he was evicted Same thing in 2017 before the Roma thing happened in 2018. In 2019, after his masterclass performance against Liverpool at Camp nou, Barcelona bottled the 3-goal lead at Anfield. As if those were not enough, he met a far worst disaster in the following season (2020) against Bayern munich where Barcelona went home with their luggage loaded with eight (8) goals and shame. Shortly after then, the Bartomeu and exit saga set in after his best friend Luis Suarez had been sold to a rival club for free. During the span of all the aforementioned events, Argentina lost three finals. It takes a terrific strong mentality to perform at the average level with all these heartbreaks. Still, king Leo ruled the world of football on a personal level.
Now that the 'Medicine man' has clung an international trophy which has been slipping off his toes in a very long time, what do you expect on the pitch other than magic after magic from the little god of football, Lionel Andres Messi?
As we warn Spanish teams ahead of the coming season, the whole of Europe should sit tight too, because the G.O.A T of football has just been reborn
Once again,
congrats Lionel Messi!
congrats Argentina!
congrats Barcelona!
and..
congrats to the world of football!
