'Disgusting excuse of punditry': Fans tear into Henry for 'uncomfortable and embarrassing' attack on Yoro
It was so hard to watch, Sky Sports deleted the clip.
With his most recent piece of 'pundity' Thierry Henry shows why, despite his acclaimed intelligence on the football pitch, he failed horribly as a coach.
The former Arsenal man chose to pick out 19-year-old Leny Yoro to aim his vitriol at after Man United's 4-1 defeat to Newcastle United.
However, it wasn't a tactical analysis, as Henry chose to freeze a moment after Harvey Barnes's goal when Yoro glanced over at the linesman to check if he was offside.
What follows is an absurd take, as Henry seems completely riled up by Yoro's decision to check for offside. He doesn't even appeal.
His fellow pundit Jamie Carragher and the presenter both seem visibly uncomfortable due to Henry's "weird" analysis and try to get the show moving.
Fans, however, are not going to let this slide so easily, as they came out in numbers to call out Henry's despicable attack on a 19-year-old playing his first season in the Premier League, in the worst Man United team in the modern era.
Dips: "Thierry Henry’s criticism of Leny Yoro is completely unwarranted. He’s a teenager learning his craft. This kind of “analysis” is just lazy and unhelpful. Carragher deleted his tweet mocking Yoro. Clowns, the lot of them. 🗑️ "
Cantonasmind: "Leny Yoro getting attacked by Thierry Henry shows you how little ex pros know about football. Leny Yoro’s been by far one of our best performers this season."
YanitedCynical: "Sky Sports deleted that Henry/Yoro clip and rightly so.. Disgusting excuse of ‘punditry’".
