Was David Villa as good as they say?
For me, no. Yes, he was very heplful in his first season at Camp Nou, he helped us win eight trophies, including the Champions League. Heck, he even scored in the final against Manchester United.
Beyond that, however, he added nothing to the team. He left us with 48 goals and 24 assists in 119 games.
However, his stats look less impressive when you look at them on a per season basis.
In his second season, he scored 9 goals in 24 matches and bagged 16 goals in 43 matches in his last one.
It might be an unpopular opinion, but Pedro, who is often overlooked, is a level above Villa.
Thusly, I rest my case.
