Bellerin is hands down the most stylish footballer in Prem but he is much more than than
Every Gooner has an opinion about Hector Bellerin. Some say that he is too slow after the injury and he can't cross or dribble. Some claim he'll get his pace back soon and praise him for his loyalty to Arsenal colours.
What both sides of the Bellerin debate within the AFC community have to agree on is that the Spaniard has amazing looks. Often featuring in various tabloid lists of 'most beautiful PL footballers' and 'football stars most wanted by women', Hector clearly enjoys being seen, noticed and discussed.
There is one thing that makes him different from other good-looking football stars, though.

Let's compare the right-back to one of the most famous football celebs, David Beckham. The Englishman has a perfect sense of style and has created his own personal brand but he has never come to mean anything other than just a very handsome guy.
The same applies to Cristiano Ronaldo, who may have earned quadrillions via shampoo adverts but has also created an image of an athlete who cares only about himself, not even about his teammates or his team. For Cristiano, the world outside exists only for himself, correct me if I'm wrong.

The key difference between Hector and Beckham, Hector and Ronaldo is that fashion is more than a source of income and fame for the Spaniard.
This is the way he expresses himself, his personality and opinions. It's not a way to earn additional money in addition to his Arsenal deal.
And, speaking of opinions, oh boy, Hector is quite an opinionated guy. He can have all steaks in the world but he chose to be vegan. He is able to afford a private jet but prefers cutting his carbon footprint instead. He has access to the most elite resorts in the world but opted to spend his summer holidays in the Danish countryside last year.
It is his activism that sets Hector apart from everyone in football, and the fact that his looks are a reflection of a very complex person behind them. Unlike most other football stars, Bellerin is not a superficial character who cares only about getting money by profiting off of huge entertainment industry.
So let me wrap this up with my favourite shoot featuring Bellerin, the one in which he joined the WWF's FightForYourWorld campaign.
Unlike most footballers, Bellerin talks about things that matter: Brexit, ecology, human rights. Unlike most footballers, Bellerin actually has an opinion, and that is something that really matters today.
He might be a shadow of his former self these days and there are doubts he will regain his pace and return to his pre-injury form. It is nevertheless certain that the Spaniard will be remembered for his off-the-pitch activities and this is what makes him unique.
