Jack Grealish transfer clue spotted in Man City’s new kit reveal
Fans think it's a hint
Manchester City have revealed their new home kit for the 2025/26 season — and it may offer a clue about Jack Grealish’s future at the club.
The new shirt, designed by Puma, features a white diagonal sash across the club’s traditional sky blue — a design inspired by City kits from the 1970s. Pep Guardiola’s side will wear it during this summer’s Club World Cup in the United States.
Grealish appears in the kit launch photos alongside teammates Phil Foden, Erling Haaland, and Mateo Kovacic, leading some fans to believe he will stay at the club beyond the summer. This comes despite recent transfer rumours, with Tottenham, Aston Villa and Napoli all reportedly interested.
The speculation follows a difficult season for Grealish, who scored just three goals and started only seven Premier League matches.
Interestingly, he does not appear in the promotional video for the kit, which stars actor John Thompson hosting a talent show. Players like Foden, Haaland, Manuel Akanji, Oscar Bobb, and Ederson all feature, along with club legends Micah Richards, Joleon Lescott, and Mike Summerbee.
The video was filmed at the Clayton Official Supporters Club, located near the Etihad Stadium.
