Karim Benzema buys new BMW M5, not even spending his full daily salary - another supercar for Frenchman
He expanded his collection.
After an illustrious career at Real Madrid, Karim Benzema moved to the Middle East in 2023, joining Al-Ittihad.
Despite a rocky start, the French striker soon showcased why he won the 2022 Ballon d’Or, scoring 21 goals in the regular season and becoming Al-Ittihad’s all-time top scorer in the Saudi Pro League with 27 goals in the competition.
Overall, he has played 58 matches for the club, netting 33 goals and providing 17 assists.
Beyond breaking records, his move also significantly boosted his finances.
Benzema signed a three-year, $327 million contract with Al-Ittihad in 2023.
Recently, he expanded his already impressive car collection by purchasing a new BMW M5 for $184,000.
Earning $307,000 daily, he still had $123,000 left after the purchase.
While the BMW M5 stands out among his supercars, it’s considered a daily supercar with 725 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about 2.2 seconds and reaching a top speed of 305 km/h.
The 37-year-old, a long-time car enthusiast, also owns a Lamborghini Revuelto, Ferrari Purosangue, and a hybrid Rolls-Royce Spectre, often showcasing them on Instagram.
Al-Ittihad clinched the Saudi Pro League title early this season, beating Al-Raed 3-1 with two rounds to spare.
