INEOS & Glazers have set Amorim up to fail, United in 2025 is a joke... while City spent 200m in Jan 😤😤🤬🤬 - Didn’t replace Rashford & Antony - only 4 attacking options left - Garnacho not sold is shown as a new signing - Martinez has torn his ACL - No good GK - couldn’t pay a £5M fee for Mathys Tel - glued to 13th position on the league table

Almost every top club has strengthened except for LFC yet again! I just seriously hope we don’t get a run of injuries! I had high hopes when Edwards and Hughes came in, now I’m definitely not sure on Hughes!!

So let's see how much the top clubs spent. Arsenal.....nothing. Spurs......a backup keeper. Chelsea....nothing. Manu.....1 player for 30 mil and they really needed to buy a lot of players. And then City who's got a very ageing squad and who's spent A LOT less than us the last 3 years and had to buy in case of transfer embargo. So basically one of the top clubs actually spent some money.

January transfer windows are for clubs who NEED not WANT ! We want but don’t need at this juncture , so no transfer. What’s the big deal ?

& much harder to bring in players in the January transfer window, mid-season, especially quality players. You usually pay a premium, just as Barca did with Coutinho

that's crazy money to come up with in the winter transfer window. any other club can only dream about spending that kind of money while having 115 charges against you

If I were Amorim I would be checking the job vacancies, with this sort of backing he can only fail. Just shows the mentality when Ratcliffe can write the season off.

serious i thougt it will be better with ratcliff but he is a rat like the glazers only seeking for money. how is it possible to loan out more players then getting none of the attackers back. serious how stupid are they. i am a hnited fan but i hope this season will be Quick over hopefully we end at 9th place and none eur. place so all the sponsors will walk away from ineos. and hopefully hopefully qatar eiland over take. this is fare out horrible season ever.

I hate City as much as any Red, but the facts are that City have been well within the PSR for the last 4 years, they've spent less than we have, I'd even guess they could be the lowest transfer spenders over the last 3 years. So I'm not sure why you think this proves anything about Citys charges. If anything I'd argue they're doing business before they get hit hard with sanctions. As generally a club like City would prefer to wait until the summer to do signings as there's no value in a January market. What player would want to join a side that's potentially not gonna be playing CL football and if the PL get their way, could receive a 2 year European ban? Legally, they're well within the rules and there shouldn't be any uproar about Citys recent spending (aside from Haalands wages, as even with using bonuses, I'm not totally sure how they can cover that expense).
