Man United not in top 3: Supercomputer names Europa League contenders before quarter-finals

The European season is in its most intriguing phase, with all the major continental competitions are entering quarter-finals.

The Champions League steals most headlines, but the Europa League still has some big clubs, including Premier League duo Man United and Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the English clubs are not the main frontrunners for the trophy, according to Opta Analyst and their supercomputer.

As per the algorithm, the likeliest Europa League winners this season are Athletic Bilbao (22.4%) and Lazio (21.5%).

They are followed by Spurs (18.4%) and only after that Man United (just 13.3%).

The least likely Europa League winners are Rangers. The Scottish giants' chances to lift the trophy are rated at just 2.2%.

Super computer doesn't know how to rate team basing on team's form. If united can beat City, draw Chelsea, arsenal and Liverpool, then among bilbao, lazio and Tottenham United can pull a masterclass show. Let's first deal with lyon and the rest will come....

A team that is unbeaten till date in European games is not qualified and not in the main frontrunners to lift the cup but Lazio and Bilbao... good.. let's wait till then..

There is no supercomputer bt haters, haters loose in most cases, man u is unbeaten in the competition not by mistake or chance bt they have done what they could. Its good to be rated that way so that they are put to sword ⚔️ when we meet them.Theyvsaid man u wil loose 4-1 to asernal, they said man u wil be out by facing Real sociedad bt sociedad sored two goals home and away both penalties,so swallow your pride because we can lift that trophy 🏆, watch my space.
