Mo Salah wins FWA Player of the Season – his winning margin is so wide that it makes history
Mo Salah picks up his first major individual award of the season
Mohamed Salah has just been named the Football Writers Player of the Season for the 2024/25 campaign.
Salah got nearly 90% of the votes to win the award. In doing that, Salah makes history by posting the biggest margin for a winner this century.
Salah's Liverpool captain, Virgil Van Dijk, came a distant second.
Salah has 33 goals and 23 assists in 49 appearances.
He has fired Liverpool to win their 20th League title. The Egyptian King thoroughly deserved this.
