Real Madrid lack of tactical plan against Arsenal shown in one pic

Real Madrid promised their fans a historic Remontada in the game against Arsenal.

On the D-day, what Madridistas got was boring, aimless and tactless football that never really troubled Arsenal. At full-time, Real Madrid ended up losing again.

One picture from the game against Arsenal showed just how planless and clueless Madrid were on a night they needed to win.

With the game tied at 0-0 on the night and Madrid chasing at least an opening goal, Fede Valverde and Lucas Vazquez decided to do a ping-pong passing game between themselves.

Before you blame Vazquez and Valverde, look at the HUGE gap between them and the rest of their teammates.

There was no plan to build from the back, play intricate passes or create space.

The team just packed themselves in front of the Arsenal goal, hoping for crosses that were always easily defended.

Jude Bellingham and the other midfielders weren't dropping deep to pick up the ball and help in the buildup.

It was indeed horrible to watch.

Perhaps, this is why Carlo Ancelotti's job is on the line, with many critics calling for his immediate sacking.

Not just in the Arsenal game. Madrid seems to have been playing with no plan tactics or responsibilities all season through. In almost every game, there has been that struggle. Simply , how can a professional team play without a main penalty taker selected by the coach? If Carlo can't make those simple decisions, then what else can he do to the team?

That's true. A coach who doesn't make simple choices. No tactics.

So we knew all this and kept mute until all the horses fled from the stable. This is typical case of medicine after death or crying after the spilled milk. But circulate this information for the desired change.

why you think we lost to small teams in pool play , no plan no tactics. Had a 10 point lead in la Liga but lost matches we shouldn't have when little teams sit back. Carlo doesn't have any ideas how to break them down. Time for a change

Finally Carlo Ancelloti has proven the fact that he's indeed tactically deficient and clueless... Bring back Zinedine Zidane Zizuo back or Jurgen klopp

For those who have been around for years now knows my stands on Ancelotti even when we picked the last UCL my opinion about him never changed.I want to see his prolonged loyalists now come for me or attack me.Some people are just too blind with his old records. The last UCL we won was more of individual talents not on a tactical level. His selection is always suspect, for over three years now he has not discovered any young talent from the academy except injury situations forced him into it which is a weak sign as well. Perez is to be blamed as well for his total negligence and I don't think he deserves the 4 years that was given. He is very old now we need to see things outside Perez views now so that we won't continue to live in the past. The best we can have as a coach now is a Klopp that can swiftly bring his tactical philosophy and his confidence in bringing up young talents to the team. The best we can do at this point is to save our past glories by sacking him before we play the Copa final else that will be another disaster that will amount to more calamity 😔

But really I still can't get my head over this picture as l begin to ask countless questions. Was the team playing as instructed or simply deviant to the coach? Was it a loss of concentration by the team or a moment of transition because even a kindergarten pupil can see this flaw in tactics. Still can't believe a great team like Madrid can display this fundermental error in tactics. Then, I ask, how have we been winning with this glaring tactical error. Can someone volunteer answer to my questions? As l can't get it.

The picture speaks volumes and if this has been the case the whole season you begin to ask and wonder how did we manage to get to where we are today. Moreover, the legion of fans who have been critical of Carlo Ancelloti for lack of tactics including this analyst , why didn't you put your views across to the appropriate quarters for a much desired change. You all kept mute while Madrid was roasted by their opponents. You are all part of the blame. It's impossible to be doing the same thing (as Carlo Ancelloti was doing) and expect different results. Shame on the critical fans including this analyst/writer and perhaps the players as well for keeping mute while Madrid played without tactics and strategy the whole season. Shame, shame, shame and please speak up now and put the devil to shame.

Nobody kept quiet, I don't know whether you just joined this app! Because people have been speaking of his lack of tactical plan, favouritism, lack of trust on young players among others. Many here predict this defeats before the game, so is not something new to us. The only problem is that he is backed by the president
