What Harry Maguire did immediately after West Ham defeat — it involves his former team
The former skipper prefers football to partying.
Following Manchester United's 2–0 loss to West Ham, Harry Maguire took a break from the pressure by attending Sheffield United's Championship play-off win at Bramall Lane on Monday.
The defender, who came through the Blades' academy, was spotted in good spirits at the stadium as his boyhood club secured a 6–0 aggregate victory over Bristol City.
Maguire had been benched for the West Ham match but came on after Leny Yoro's injury, only to see Jarrod Bowen set up a second goal shortly after.
Despite some clutch moments this season, including a late winner against Lyon, Maguire has also faced criticism for key defensive errors — like a misplaced pass in the semi-final against Bilbao.
The 32-year-old's visit to Sheffield United offered a brief return to his roots, where he made over 100 appearances before age 20.
That early spell in League One laid the foundation for his rise to the Premier League and eventual move to Man United from Leicester City.
