Which 16 Real Madrid players will you be watching during international break? 4 big games
We don't like it but we have to deal.
The international break is here again with club football paused for the next two weeks while players return to help their countries.
Football fans usually find the international break boring, or even annoying, for many reasons.
For one, it stops the excitement of watching your favourite football club every three to seven days. Secondly, players run a risk of returning from the break with injury.
The good news is that March's international break is the last one we'll be having in the 2024/25 season.
According to FIFA's calendar, the next international break will come in early June after the season has ended.
Back to this international break in March, 16 Real Madrid players were called up to represent their countries.
Here's the breakdown:
Here are the big matches to look out for:
Brazil v Argentina
Endrick, Vinicius and Rodrygo will all be on parade when Brazil faces perennial rivals Argentina in a difficult World Cup qualifier next Wednesday. Before that, the players will have to beat Colombia to help Brazil move up the South American World Cup qualifiers table.
France v Croatia
Kylian Mbappe and France beat Croatia and Luka Modric in the World Cup final in 2018. Fast-forward to 2025, both players are now teammates at Real Madrid but they meet again in the Nations League.
Croatia and France will face off in the Nations League quarter-final across two legs. Mbappe and Modric will captain their countries in these games.
Spain v Holland
Raul Asencio will be hoping to get his first senior debut as Spain squares up against The Netherlands in the Nations League quarter-final.
Uruguay v Argentina
Valverde will captain his country when they face Argentina in a crucial World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
