Thibaut Courtois set for hectic summer - Real Madrid choosing between two options
- Madrid are searching for a new goalkeeper again
- Courtois and Alisson are obvious candidates
- The Belgian will likely be a cheaper alternative
Cadena SER, a solid source for Real Madrid news, report that should AS Roma insist on a €80m price tag for their star goalkeeper Alisson Becker, Madrid will move on to Thibaut Courtois right after the World Cup. They have already reportedly had their £35m bid for the Belgian rejected by Chelsea.
Courtois has 12 months left on his Chelsea deal as talks over the future were said to be planned for after the World Cup. However, they may easily not take place again as they were presumably 'arranged' for a few times last season.
There is also Eden Hazard to Madrid worry. The 27-year-old openly stated he is 'maybe' interested in a move to Santiago Bernabeu, but he is at least unequivocal about his Chelsea prospects - he wants the board to start making quality signings and sort out the manager situation.

Today Eden Hazard interview in L'Equipe pretty much asking RM to sign him.
