'52 words & they don't even say 'thank you': Is it the farewell statement Conte deserves?
The Blues' official statement reads: "Chelsea Football Club and Antonio Conte have parted company. During Antonio’s time at the club, we won our sixth league title and eighth FA Cup. In the title-winning season, the club set a then-record 30 wins in a 38-game Premier League season, as well as a club-record 13 consecutive league victories. We wish Antonio every success in his future career."
Even compared to the club's previous announcements, this one might look completely unfair, taking into account the Italian's achievements and commitment.

Fans, experts, and other football- or Chelsea-related personalities have immediately reacted to the questionable act from the club.
The guy won us a Premier League and an FA Cup whilst rebuilding our whole club in his first season and this is all he gets?— Uber Chelsea FC ? (@UberCheIseaFC) July 13, 2018
Respectful as always Chelsea. pic.twitter.com/prTd7xEutB
#CFC statement on Antonio Conte is so cold and impersonal. I can't help but laugh at the pettiness and state of our club.— chelskiblues (@chelski_blues) July 13, 2018
These kiss-off statements are usually written with a little PR flair: the tone and content agreed between parties. This one looks like it was texted in by a lawyer. Which is probably a fair pointer towards what happens next in the 'relationship' between Antonio Conte and Chelsea.— Dan Levene (@danlevene) July 13, 2018
Just noticed the Conte statement doesn't actually use the word thank you.— Chelsea FC Blog (@chelseablog) July 13, 2018
Chelsea announce Antonio Conte is sacked with 52 words on their website and they don't even say thank you.— Mike Anstead (@mike_anstead) July 13, 2018
Was it unfair indeed or is everyone exaggerating?
