Times: Loftus-Cheek considers loan move
- The England international will reportedly go away from Stamford Bridge on a loan move abroad if he doesn't assure Maurizio Sarri to provide him with more amount of first-team football in the opening weeks of the Premier League season
According to Matt Hughes of The Times, Chelsea midfielder who has spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace and even forced his way into Gareth Southgate’s squad for the 2018 World Cup, will push for a loan move away from Chelsea.
"Chelsea have made it clear that they want Loftus-Cheek to stay at Stamford Bridge this season, having spent the previous campaign on loan at Crystal Palace, but the England midfielder has yet to commit to that because he wants reassurances over how often he is likely to play," Hughes reported.
Ed Malyon of The Independent believes this summer is crucial in the development of the Chelsea man:
Loftus-Cheek absolutely has it all but has made decisions before that have slowed his development. This summer is a big one for him https://t.co/fyrFoXf6mv— Ed Malyon (@eaamalyon) July 14, 2018
The Premier League transfer window closes on August 9, therefore, the 22-year-old is unlikely to stay in England, as other European clubs will have an opportunity to sign him up until August 31.
