Charly Musonda Jr not given squad number, move away very likely
- Musonda hasn't been registered by any Chelsea squad
- He still has a contract until 2022 & another loan is said to happen soon
It's still not going right for the 21-year-old Belgian, 22 this October, as in his professional career he only ever performed for a brief spell on Real Betis loan in 2016.
Last season, he was loaned to Celtic with a lot of promise both from himself and Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers. The loan clearly didn't work as he was exclusively reduced to the bench after a few initial outings. His 1,5-year loan was then cut short.
And for now, Musonda may be finding himself in a predicament again. Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur insists the player is pushing for a move away from Stamford Bridge after having not being assigned a squad number in any set-up. In the first team, Mateo Kovacic claimed his No 17 shirt.

On the deadline day, Chelsea's reporter for Goal.com Nizaar Kinsella confirmed that Musonda doesn't feature in Maurizio Sarri's plans and a loan is coming:
Himself to blame?
