Consent reportedly given: Tiemoue Bakayoko one step closer to AC Milan
- Bakayoko has reportedly given his consent to join AC Milan
- A loan is a strong possibility now
- The transfer window for all top leagues but the Prem is open until September
Tiemoue Bakayoko, 23, is likely joining the long list of those already on loan from Chelsea as Gianluca Di Marzio, the No 1 Italian source when it comes to transfers, reports that the player is now willing to move after, apparently, being told he is not Maurizio Sarri's plans for the new season.
Another round of negotiations between the two clubs happened on Saturday and it's the player's ambition to now join the Italian giants that will propel the deal to its completion.
Bakayoko was not in the squad to face Huddersfield Town on the same day although he did leave his mark. Before the occasion, he tweeted the goal he had scored against the Terriers in the previous season and captioned it with a motivational quote:
A month ago, he stated that he would do anything to stay at 'the best football club in the world for him' but it looks like a prospect of being a fringe player despite a telling price tag does not appeal at all.
Best for all involved?
