Former Manchester United midfielder can't see Marcus Rashford leaving Old Trafford despite Chelsea links
- The 20-year-old raised a huge debate over his future at United after scoring in both games for England during the international break
- Chelsea are the bookmakers' favourites to sign Rashford, it has been revealed
- However, Owen Hargreaves believes the striker is in the 'perfect spot' to continue his development
"I think Rashford has played more than enough in the last two seasons, the stats were something Jose Mourinho made a point of referencing and I would agree with him," Hargreaves told BT Sport.
"There are so many great young talents coming through that don't get anywhere near the amount of game time that he does.
"But when you play at a club like Man United that have so many different options in that position – the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata – it’s not easy.
"When he plays great, he will play. But if he has a game where he’s not as effective then other guys will come in. So I think he's in the perfect spot and he's getting enough games to continue his development."
