Danny Mills expects Gonzalo Higuain to be a 'fantastic signing' for Chelsea
- Chelsea are close to signing Gonzalo Higuain on loan until the end of the season with a possibility of making the deal permanent in the summer.
- BBC's Mills has praised the Argentine for goalscoring heroics throughout his career, claiming he would help the Blues a lot despite being over 30.
"[Higuain's] goalscoring record is sensational," Mills told BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast. "In and around the box he is brilliant. Give him chances, as Pedro, Willian, [Eden] Hazard, [Mateo] Kovacic, [Ross] Barkley will provide for him, he is gonna score goals.
"He's 31 years old, so what? He might have four or five years. They don't need him for four or five years, they just need to get back in the Champions League this season, back in the top four. I think he'll be a fantastic signing."
