Petr Cech will release song with Queen's drummer next week
The single will be aimed at raising money for charity organisation Willow Foundation.
Ex-Chelsea keeper Petr Cech is retiring at the end of this season.
And while the Blues are competing with his current club, Arsenal, to get him on their coaching and management staff, Petr returns to his other passion - music.
Cech is well known for his love for music and has played the drums since 2011 when he played Rock Band on PlayStation with his fellow goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini.
For more than 4 years, Cech has been recording drum covers and uploading them on his YouTube channel that has more than 50,000 subscribers.
Now, he has announced that next week will be a release date for his charity single he has recorded with Queen legendary drummer Roger Taylor.
The song is called 'This Is Football' and was written by our former keeper himself.
His aim is to raise money for the Willow Foundation, which organises special days for seriously ill young adults.
Earlier, the Telegraph's Matt Law reported that Chelsea were eager to offer Cech a role at the club after his retirement. The Blues are reportedly ready to bring Cech back to the Stamford Bridge for a 'newly-created' technical director role.
