ESPN: Ex-Blue Mikel set to return to Premier League
- The Nigerian midfielder spent more than 10 seasons at the Blues.

According to ESPN, former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel looks set to return to the Premier League this summer.
Referring to a source close to the player, the reputable media outlet reports that several clubs, including promoted Norwich and Sheffield United, have expressed their interest in the 32-year-old
"There are some options right now, and a few more we expect to see over the coming days," the source told ESPN. "Once all the options are on the table, he will make a decision."
The Nigerian midfielder joined our club in 2006 and spent ten and a half years in the blue shirt. In January 2017, he left for Tianjin TEDA as a free agent after being told that Chelsea would not renew his contract that would expire the following summer.
He returned to England this winter, moving to Middlesborough on a short-term deal.

He is now open to offers from the Premier League sides and hopes to make a decision before the Africa Cup of Nations Finals that will start on 21 June.
"He will most likely make the decision before the finals, although that will depend on what is on the table," the source added.
